My paintings emerge intuitively – an adventure brimming with emotion and inspiration from nature. I work on flowers, landscapes and abstracts, using bold colour contrasts and spontaneous brushstrokes.
Each painting is a unique piece for the wall—adding colour, atmosphere and a personal touch to your interior.
Three series. Three atmospheres.
- Flowers – Vibrant floral paintings inspired by nature.
- Landscapes – Between sea and land, full of sphere and space.
- Abstractions – Intuitive compositions in colour and layering.
My paintings are created layer by layer using acrylic paint and mixed media. Acrylic paint offers a dynamic that continues to fascinate me. Each layer tells a story and creates depth, both literally and figuratively. Brushes, palettes, and my hands create direct contact with the canvas. You can touch the paintings, feeling their coarse texture. The paintings are constructed with attention to color, composition, and emotion, making each work unique.
Recurring themes include the seasons, botanical forms, and nature as a whole—a free interpretation of what touches me.
Every painting is created on museum-quality linen or high-grade cotton canvas. The sides are finished with care, so a frame isn’t necessary. Each work is ready to hang. Only premium acrylic paints are used, with a protective varnish that guards against UV-light and dust.
After many years of exhibitions in the Netherlands and several other European countries, my paintings travel directly from my studio or via my online gallery to your home.
